About the role
At our client's Private Hospital, you'll join a team of exceptionally skilled professionals dedicated to supporting you throughout your career journey.
The team of Registered Nurses specialise in Perioperative care, specifically Post-Anaesthetic Care, and are integral to the preoperative team and play a crucial role in delivering thorough, patient-centred care to individuals recovering from anaesthesia post-surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Anaesthetists to provide excellent patient care.
- Facilitate communication with key stakeholders.
- Ability to recognise and respond to deteriorating patients.
- Assess and provide multimodal analgesia.
- Ensure appropriate and comprehensive documentation.

What you bring:
- Minimum of 1 years PACU/Anaesthetics or ICU experience (3 years in this current role for overseas applicants seeking 186 visa sponsorship)
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- ANMAC for overseas Nurses seeking 186 visa sponsorship
- Demonstrated knowledge, application and competency relating to the NSQHS
- Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively across all disciplines, and interact as part of a diverse professional team
- Detail-orientated and highly adaptive
