Form of workOur residential care team at Victoria Park Nursing Home and Hostel in Kalgoorlie is looking for a Registered Nurse to coordinate and lead the delivery of client-focused care. At the heart of the town, we've been providing care for the elderly since 1968.
As one of our valued Registered Nurses, you'll get to use your clinical expertise and skills to deliver exceptional care to our valued residents.

We’ll also be asking you to:
• Deliver direct & comprehensive nursing care & individual case management
• Coordinate external services to individual residents / clients
• Provide education, counselling & group work services to promote improved resident health outcomes.
• Support & educate our enrolled nurses & other health care workers
About you
As a RN, you may already be working in aged care or perhaps you've been contemplating moving into the aged care sector.
Once settled into your role, you'll truly appreciate knowing that you've made a genuine difference in the quality of our residents' lives.
Experience and qualifications
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
• A genuine desire to work in aged care
• An understanding of Commonwealth Aged Care Standards, Aged Care Act & Quality of Care Principles
• Working knowledge of AN-ACC requirements.
• The ability to mentor, lead & support a small team
• A good eye for detail & resilience to multi task whilst under pressure
• Great interpersonal & communication skills
• National Police Clearance - current within 6 months (or evidence of application)
• Immunisation record (Flu & COVID19)
• NDIS Check
• A completed pre-employment health questionnaire
• Copy of your AHPRA registration
