SalaryExciting opportunities exist for highly motivated and dynamic Registered Nurses to join a dedicated and professional team of the medical and Surgical Ward at a private hospital in Port Macquarie. The ward is a 38-bed unit, covering all surgical specialities.ROLE OVERVIEWAs a Registered Nurse, you will be working across the Medical/Surgical team and perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurses and Shift Leaders, ensuring a high level of quality care is provided at all times. Working with a professional and multidisciplinary team, your role will also involve, but is not limited to;
- Checking, preparing and administering medication in accordance with registration requirements, relevant legislation and organisation policies and procedures;
- Participating in patient care rounds to ensure that patient needs are met;
- Continually providing and exceeding the highest level of nursing care.
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Recent experience Med / Surgical preferred;
- An ability to work within a team environment;
- Evidence of ongoing professional development;
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent customer service skills.
