Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) are seeking enthusiastic, proactive Permanent Full time Registered Nurses to join our Mental Health team at Wyong.  

This is a great opportunity for nursing professionals looking to continue to develop their skills and be a part of a community focused nursing team.

About You  

  •          Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  •          Recent post graduate clinical experience in Mental Health and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
  •          Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  •          

    Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations

Where You’ll Be Working

The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing nursing care to patients and consumers of the health service; and leading, directing and supervising other nurses and care roles in the team, such as Enrolled Nurses and student nurses, to support quality care for patients/consumers. 

The Mental Health team is a multidisciplinary team, it provides assessment and care planning and treatment for consumers presenting with a mental illness. The position sits within the multidisciplinary team comprising Psychology, Social Work and Nursing. All aspects of service design and delivery are recovery oriented and therefore client-centred and collaborative, family inclusive and trauma-informed.  

Our Teams liaise closely with local General Practitioners and other service providers to assist consumers to develop sustainable support networks and promote positive Mental Health outcomes.
