Where you'll be working:
- This is a new and exciting opportunity for Registered Nurse to help in developing the Model of care for this new 9 bed Multipurpose Unit at Manning Hospital.
- The unit is an inpatient unit taking admissions from the Emergency Department.
- The nursing team will work closely with the Medical, allied health and ancillary MDT to deliver the highest quality care to patients in our community.
- We are a short stay unit, with the aim of having patients discharged in 24 to 72 hours.

About the role:
- This is a new unit where you will be looking after the early coordination of care of newly admitted patients from the Emergency Department. The role will be holistic.
- The role will be supported by the NUM 1 of the unit and Nurse educator of the facility.
- There will be a development pathway from novice to expert clinician and you will have regular touch points with your manager and educator and the broader team.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
