ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

The 4th floor at East Melbourne is a dynamic 31 bed, mixed surgical ward, incorporating the Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit. We specialise predominantly in plastics/reconstruction with additional breast, ENT, urology/gynaecology surgery and medical oncology. We pride ourselves on teamwork and are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team on Night Duty.

This permanent role is available part time, working a minimum 57 hours (six shifts) per fortnight. We work closely with our team of surgeons to provide excellent patient care and place a strong emphasis on education and growing your skillset. Further studies in plastics/reconstruction available.

ABOUT YOU:

As a Registered Nurse your skills and experience will include:

  • Authority to practice nursing with AHPRA as Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care.
  • Commitment to patient-focused care and teamwork.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure
