Your role
The Good Shepherd Home’s (TGSH) Registered Nurses (RN) provides high level clinical care to care recipients ensuring clinical, emotional and care needs are achieved in accordance with care plans. This includes ongoing assessment, formulation, implementation, evaluation and documentation of required care and care planning. In addition the RN supervises care employees and enrolled nurses with the provision of oversight, mentoring and supervision as required. The RN within TGSH is required to demonstrate a thorough understanding of clinical care in accordance with AN-ACC requirements.
Your skills & experience
- Endorsed by APHRA (essential);
- Aged Care experience beneficial
- A good understanding of contemporary aged care, clinical practice and clinical leadership in a residential setting;
- Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict;
- Great communicate skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team;
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills;
- Excellent written documentation and assessment skills;
- A good knowledge of the AN-ACC funding instrument and aged care accreditation standards;
- NDIS (essential)
Employees of TGSH must qualify to work in Australia. Successful applicants will be required to undergo NDIS Worker Screening Assess Clearance.
