The Role:
Unidex Healthcare are urgently seeking Registered Nurses to partner with a range of Aged Care Facilities based in the Mildura, VIC 3500.
The shifts are split into:
- Morning Shift:
- 06:00am -14:00pm OR 07:00 - 15:00pm.
- Afternoon Shift:
- 14:00pm -20:00pm OR 15:00 - 21:00pm.
- Night Shift:
- 20:00pm -06:00am OR 21:00 - 07:00am.
- Please note that shift times can alter - depending on the client's requirements.
The roles are casual opportunities, and the pay rates are casual rates and include casual loading.
We are offering the following pay rates from Level 1.2 to 1.8: (Depending on Qualifications and level of experience)
- Day shift from: $43.90 - $52.93 phr
- Afternoon shift from $48.29 - $58.22 phr
- Night shift from $49.17 - $59.28 phr
- Saturday shift from $65.85 - $79.39 phr
- Sunday shift from $76.83 - $92.62 phr
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administering medication and monitoring the effects
- Assessing and monitoring the physical and emotional well-being of residents
- Collaborating with other health care professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Communicating with families and other caregivers to keep them informed of the resident's condition.
- Managing and overseeing nursing care procedures, restorative care, safe behavioural management, and health emergency responses
- Following clinical policies and procedures and providing leadership in infection control and disaster situations
- Provide leadership and supervision to ENs and PCA/AINs
What we need you to have:
- Flexibility for varied shifts/rosters
- Access to your own vehicle
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Bachelor's in Nursing Certificate or Diploma.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current National Police Clearance (within 36 months)
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Please note: Two current referees will be required.
