About the Role
With the recent expansion of our perioperative department, which opened up two brand-new operating rooms, we have multiple opportunities for Scrub Scout Nurses to join the team!
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHRPA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an acute hospital setting
- Previous perioperative nursing experience, scrub scout desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a team environment and independently when required
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]

Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a 187-bed acute Medical and advanced surgical hospital situated on the Pacific Highway at Gateshead, 15 kms south of the Newcastle CBD. The hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care Limited, the largest operator of private hospitals in Australia. Our hospital is linked by an overhead walkway to the Lake Macquarie Specialist Centre which provides on-site Radiology and Pathology Services as well as strata title, specialist Medical consulting suites.
