AddressExceptional openings are present for skilled Registered Nurses to become part of the ward specialising in Orthopaedics at a private hospital located in Melbourne. Both permanent full-time and part-time positions are currently accessible.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA;
- Desired experience in orthopaedics nursing;
- At least 3 years of experience working in an acute hospital environment;
- Essential flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster.

$34.39 - $47.55 per hour + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
