About our Paediatric Ward – Heath Wing 3
Heath Wing 3 is a 28-bed unit and is the primary acute care facility for children and adolescents in the Barwon region. It is a very dynamic and progressive unit that has a large turnover of patients with a wide range of conditions including caring for infants, children and adolescents with a variety of medical, surgical, oncology, orthopaedic and psychiatric problems.
Be part of our future growth with the new women’s and children’s facility for Geelong. This will integrate with existing University Hospital Geelong services and will deliver additional capacity to meet increasing demand in the Barwon South West region. Including more paediatric multi-day/same day inpatient beds and expanded paediatric outpatient facilities.
About you
As the successful applicant you will;
- Have minimum 12 months of acute clinical experience
- Paediatric experience is desirable, but not a requirement for this position
- Have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Deliver consumer-centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements
