What You Will Be Doing
Our Palliative Care Unit is a modern purpose built 12 bed facility located on Golf Links Road, Frankston. Our Palliative Care Unit provides comprehensive care and support to patients in the advanced stages of progressive life-threatening illnesses, where care in the community is no longer appropriate.
The Registered Nurse (RN) are valued and integral members of the Peninsula Health multidisciplinary team demonstrating flexibility in caring for patients and their families accords the organisation. The RN works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence-based person-centered care to achieve optimal health outcomes or a dignified death.
Limited Term Contract - Start ASAP till 2nd June 2024
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience and scope of practice
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumers
• Experience in an acute Palliative Care setting, desirable
