About the role
A Ryman nurse's work is varied, meaningful and challenging. Our pioneering spirit means we're always innovating to help our residents live their best lives. Based at our beautiful John Flynn Retirement Village in Burwood East, you will use all your nursing and people skills to:
- Provide compassionate and high-quality care that is good enough for mum, and dad
- Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
- Assess residents and develop and review care plans
- Administer treatment and ongoing support to residents
- Use pioneering technology including our own purpose-built care app, myRyman
- Support the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators
We are looking for two Part TimeRegistered Nurses to join our team at John Flynn Retirement Village Burwood East VIC, working the bellow shifts. Please specify in your application which shifts you are applying for.
- Thursday and Friday 0700 - 1500
- Wednesday and Thursday 1445 - 2200
About You
A Ryman nurse's work is varied and meaningful. To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- A current Registered Nurse registration
- Strong clinical judgement and thorough clinical documentation with 3 years minimum experience
- A reliable, friendly, positive and professional manner
- Experience in medical emergencies, palliative care, SIRS and Aged Care restrictive practice
- The ability to share knowledge and work within a friendly, supportive team
- Experience and passion for working in Aged Care striving for best clinical practice
- Kindness, compassion and drive to deliver high-quality care to our residents
