We are searching for energetic Registered Nurses at our 108 bed Aged Care Facility Pembroke Lodge in Sydney.

This position is located at 57-61 Pembroke Road, Minto NSW 2566 

part time or casual

 Responsibilities:

·        To be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation and provision of care services.

·        To act as clinical consultant for personal and health/ clinical care matters.

·        To monitor Health and Personal Care Standards are maintained for residents.

·         Responsible for ensuring that care provided to residents is timely, of high standards through accurate assessments, care planning and proper documentation.

·        Responsible for ensuring residents and/or their representatives are encouraged to be involved in the development of the resident’s care plans.

·        Responsible to coordinate and monitor AN-ACC assessment and documentation to ensure that they are achieved appropriately to the resident’s care needs.

·        Provide clinical governance to nursing assistant to guide them to provide appropriate basic clinical and personal care to residents on identified needs within their scope of responsibilities and competence.

·        Health emergency responses, including identification of acute deterioration in residents related to falls and infections compounded by co-morbidities. 

·        Conducting wound and pain assessments; administer wound and pain management regimes.

Successful candidates will have:

·        A current AHPRA registration

·        Demonstrated at least two years’ full-time experience as a Registered Nurse.

·        Able to maintain a safe and high standard of practice in accordance with company and regulatory requirements and obligations

·        Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

.        Clinical leadership skills

.        Good computer skills
