AddressPeninsula Private Hospital is looking for experienced Scrub RN's for a variety of specialty's including Major / Minor Ortho, Urology, General, Plastics and Gynae to join our Perioperative Services Team.
· Currently 2 Operating theatres and 1 procedure room with major re-development under way to double capacity by mid 2025.
· Free parking onsite
· Busy orthopaedic, urology, general & day procedure lists.
· Week day and occasional weekend lists.
Are you a motivated Scrub Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Peninsula Private is looking to employ Scrub RN's for their growing Peri Op Unit. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.
As a Scrub Nurse your responsibilities will include:
· Deliver evidence based nursing care
· Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
· Ensure patient and staff safety
· Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members, graduates and students
· Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their surgery and health recovery
About Us
Peninsula Private is currently a 50 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 2 operating theatres and 1 procedure room located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, oral/max fax and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane northside.
We have recently begun a redevelopment project that will grow the Peri Op department to 4 theatres, 2 procedure rooms and a new CSSD department. The planned completion is mid 2025 with a staged move into the new Peri Op Complex expected to begin early in 2025.

Essential Criteria:
· Current Registration with AHPRA or relevant governing body
· Previous Scrub Nursing experience
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Works well independently and within a team
· Basic computer skills
