As a telehealth nurse you will provide professional and immediate health advice to the community via a dedicated 24/7 service. You will be helping to improve access to healthcare nationwide. About You
We are actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a minimum 3 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) post graduate, acute or primary health clinical experience. We are especially interested in applicants with experience in either emergency, triage, telehealth or first responder care.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a keen interest and passion in delivering high quality and efficient assessment, advice, triage and referral assistance within a telehealth setting.
You have a professional, patient, and friendly manner and enjoy interacting with patients and assisting with various healthcare needs.
You enjoy working independently as well as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering safe, efficient and high-quality care. You take pride in contributing to the delivery of the highest standards of care to patients.
You are collaborative with a strong customer service focus, and the ability to build rapport and trust quickly and easily. A quick problem solver, able to ‘think on your feet’ with a strong governance and compliance background.
You are respectful and professional, you demonstrate exceptional moral values in everything you do.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) in the healthcare system.
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Recent participation in CPD activities in accordance with AHPRA
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in inbound and outbound call handling and associated correspondence
- National Police Check
- Strong computer and IT competency. As we are a remote work from home workplace, technical abilities form an important part of the role.
