Position Summary
An opportunity exists to join our busy Urgent Care Centre team under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager. The Urgent Care Centre is located in Cowes on Phillip Island and delivers 24hr care to the community of Bass Coast.
Our ideal candidates will have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in the Emergency or Critical Care setting
- Demonstrated critical thinking and organisational skills
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Emergency experience preferred, ALS required
- Well-developed clinical skills
- Strongly developed leadership skills and experience
- Ability to time manage and work in a busy environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work to a rotating roster
- Valid Police check and current Working with Children check
- A commitment to person centred care and service excellence
- Flu Vaccination
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions
