Join a team of nurses providing Surgical assistance for skin surgery, vasectomies and other minor procedures. A willingness to gain a current Immunisation Certification/ or previous experiences in childhood imminusations will also be favourable.
Baby Steps is an established multi-disciplinary private billing practice with brand new spacious beautifully fitted out premises right in the heart of Subiaco with plenty of patient and staff parking and immediate access to public transport.
You are required to be a Registered Nurse with good time management and interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic friendly team. You will receive an excellent hourly rate, with training provided. There may also be an opportunity to increase hours.
Roles & Responsibilities include:
- Procedure Nurse for skin surgeries, circumcision, vasectomy and tongue tie clinics
- Pre and post-operative education to families
- Follow up of results
- Maintaining and updating reminder systems
- Medical documentation and coordination of care with team
- Stock control / ordering
- Administrative and computer based duties
- Childhood Immunisations
Essential Skills, Experience & Knowledge
- Current AHPRA registration
- Permanent Australian residency
- At least 5 years experience in the Clinical Setting
- Strong organisational skills and time management skills
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional & positive attitude towards providing quality patient care
- Follow established protocols whilst ensuring best practice in patient care & infection control
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to commit to and demonstrate behaviours that reflect the core values of the centre
- Tertiary qualification and relevant experience
- Capacity to do administrative and reception duties would be helpful
