About You and the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll conduct health care assessments and complex care planning, HCP reviews, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and provide health education to participants and support workers in both home and group settings. Building rapport, understanding participant care requirements and being able to provide guidance and advice in a wide variety of care settings is vital to succeed in this role.
To be Eligible you must:
- Hold an AHPRA registration
- Possess experience ideally in a community setting
- Possess experience in urinary catheterisation (female and male)
- Possess personable communication skills to confidently liaise with participants, families and other stakeholders
- Be independent, self-motivated and able to manage your own diary with minimal supervision.
- Be competent in the use of technology
- Hold a valid C class driving licence
- Be competent in implementing Clinical Documentation
- And pass all other compliance requirements of the job role
It is highly regarded if you:
- Have previous experience assisting people with a disability
- Posses training experience and/or a Certificate IV TAE qualification
