About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse within the Northern Mental Health Division.
This position will offer you professional growth opportunities within a supportive and inclusive culture. In this key position you will demonstrate your experience and previous success working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse to ensure high quality care is delivered to our consumers.
As a Registered Nurse you will provide nursing services in health service settings. In this role you will develop from a novice practitioner to a proficient level of professional practice and consolidate knowledge and skills, developing in capability through continuous professional development and experience. As a Registered Nurse you will accept accountability for your own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others.
you will provide nursing services in a variety of health service settings which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study, developing from a competent to proficient practitioner. In this role you will accept accountability for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff. The Clinical Nurse role continues to be predominantly clinical in nature, however employees are assigned appropriate portfolios, have hands on involvement in the group rehabilitation program and provide case management in close coordination with the multi-disciplinary team.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold a current practicing certificate. You must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or hold a qualification in Mental Health practice.
