It is essential:
// All Qualifications as Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
// Current Australian Driver’s Licence or access to reliable transport
// Current criminal record screening or willing to obtain
// Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
// Recent primary healthcare experience or willing to learn
// Continuing professional development
// Current CPR Training (within the past 12 months)
Desirable but not essential:
// Previous experience in practice accreditation
// Experience with performing high-quality, patient-focused care plans and health assessments
// Previous experience in the use of PENCAT, Hot doc, Best Practice
// Cannulation and venepuncture skills
// Knowledge in sterilisation
// Experience in vaccine and cold chain management
// Qualified in Childhood Immunisation or willingness to obtain
// Current knowledge of immunisation schedules, diabetes management, asthma management, enhanced primary care items, triage, wound management, infection control, CPR and emergency resuscitation techniques, Care Plans
// Demonstrated understanding of the needs of general practice and interest in patient education and health promotion
// Knowledge and understanding of the MBS and use of relevant item numbers relating to general practice and nursing
