We are looking for candidates who have an excellent team attitude, are willing to pitch in and help where required and go above and beyond their core duties.
Through a multi-disciplinary approach, you will co-ordinate and manage the provision of care (assess, plan, implement and evaluate) and complex clinical nursing procedures to all residents within the facility under the direction of the Facility Manager. You should be highly organised and self-motivated, and someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. If you have proven experience within aged care in a similar residential facility setting, we offer a great team to work with and a supportive working environment.
Key Requirements Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Recent experience within the Aged Care Industry (minimum of 1 year experience) Recent experience in caring for high care and dementia residents Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, care plans Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards and accreditation requirements. A current drivers licence for the State of Victoria and access to a private motor vehicle.
Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)Royal Freemasons is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must complete an NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an International Police Check if you have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.
