Barton Private Hospital is fully licensed with ACT health protective services and accredited with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS Standards) We have a team of skilled medical professionals dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for patients. Our facility has 3 fully equipped Operating theatres with the latest technology. The hospital is situated in the heart of the Parliamentary Triangle in Canberra.
Monday to Friday work only. No weekends. No on-Call. No public holiday work. AM and PM hours only. A very cohesive, inclusive and welcoming team. Sounds too good to be true. It is just as it sounds, get your work life balance back. Work where you are genuinely appreciated.
Opportunities currently exist for qualified and experienced Scrub/Scout Nurses, permanent part time (min 15 hrs. a week) and casual positions are available.
Surgical specialties include Gynecology, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Ocular Plastics, Podiatrics, Pain Management and Dental
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:
- Exceptional clinical skills

- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Essential criteria
- Current AHPRA nursing registration
- Qualification as perioperative nurse (desirable but not essential)
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as scrub nurse in the acute care sector.
