Australian Clinical Trials is a private research unit specialising in urological trials. We are a small friendly team situated within the consulting rooms of the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Wahroonga. We undertake cutting edge research, and are currently running a number of sponsor led clinical trials, ranging from phase 1 - IV studies, in the area of prostate cancer and prostate health. Founded over 15 years ago, we have a long history of research.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our research team in the role of Research Nurse/Clinical Trial Coordinator. The Research Nurse/Clinical Trial Coordinator will report to our Trial Unit Manager and work in our small supportive team to ensure the smooth running of all current trials. This will involve all aspects of Clinical Trial Coordination, including delivering a high standard of care to our current and future patients, and liaising with all study stakeholders, including the study doctors, sponsors and other multidisciplinary teams. Ideally you will have experience in conducting Clinical Trials, or you are a Registered Nurse who has experience in research, or is interested in upskilling in this area. All training will be provided to the right applicant.

Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably in a nursing or another health science field
- Current nursing registration highly valued
- Experience in clinical research is very advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively and develop rapport with patients and their families, whilst always demonstrating empathy
- Good problem solving and organisational skills and the ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
- Awareness of ICH-GCP Guidelines and relevant regulatory guidelines a plus. Current Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) certificate highly valued
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and contribute to the research team
- Developed computer literacy skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) as well as experience with electronic data capture systems highly valued
