An exciting opportunity to join as a Registered Pharmacist has opened up based in Nepean Hospital. In this position, the Pharmacist will be responsible for the provision of clinical pharmacy services by becoming an active member of the patient care team and enhancing patient care processes and medication safety, by assuring best practice in therapeutics and medication accuracy at transitions of care [at admission to hospital, during inpatient care and discharge from hospital], and through liaison and active interaction with community pharmacists and general practitioners.
The Pharmacist will also provide pharmacy afterhours and on call services and participate in the afternoon shift on a rostered basis.

Selection Criteria to be Addressed: * Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated post graduate clinical experience in a health care setting
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads, work independently and within an inter-professional team environment
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills
- Record of ongoing professional development
- Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Access) and Pharmacy Inventory and Dispensing programs
