DNA Nursing are currently working with a long established privately owned, private billing practice in the Lower North Shore / Northern Beachesof Sydney, NSW. Due to increased demand, the practice is looking to increase the headcount of their nursing work force and employ an experienced supervisor to oversee the nursing team. There are 19 Doctors based at the practice and the role is supported by a small but effective nursing team. There is an abundance of street parking and frequent buses surrounding the practice making thie a fantastic opportunity for nurses in the area but also those willing to drive in from surrounding suburbs. This role is based in Mosman at one of over 160 medical centres across Australia - this naturally brings with it plenty of scope for future growth opportunities.

The position on offer is permanent full time for an experienced registered nurse, with operating hours of either 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm. There is some flexibility in those hours if required. The successful applicant must be well grounded in treatment room work. There is a competitve hourly rate on offer - negotiable with experience.

Day to day duties include:

• Patient triage
• Take bloods
• Immunisation
• Wound dressing
• Medical supplies inventory/ordering
• Cold chain management
• Patients’ health assessments
• Care plans
• ECGS
• Assisting with minor procedures

Requirements:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Certified Immunizer (desirable)
• GP Practice / Medical Centre experience is essential
• Knowledge of clinical practice standards
• COVID vaccinations
• Chronic Care Plan Management experience would be a bonus
