About the RoleYou will become a part of our dynamic team, with the opportunity to develop your clinical skills through treating a diverse range of patients in challenging and rewarding settings. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and record interventions and patient care.
- Provide physical and psychological care & support
- Contribute to assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the patient within a safe and therapeutic environment to promote prompt recovery
- Assess the medical, physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of patients to ensure high quality care
- Actively encourage patients and their significant others to participate in management planning and or care programs
- Monitor and review the provision of care using research outcomes, continuous quality improvement activities and systems appraisals
Classifications for this position will range from
Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2 NP21 – NP70 ($69,253 - $92,601 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution- Completed Bachelor of Nursing Degree
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Current experience in the delivery of Aged Care Mental Health Nursing is essential
- Experience in conflict management / negotiation
- Motivated, professional & exhibiting exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Current National Criminal History check, or willing to obtain
