Job description

About us:
We are a private psychology practiice in Seaford with a passion for providing a high quality evidence based holistic approach for our clients of all ages across the lifespan. We focus on building strengths and developing practical solutions to achieve positive change. We take pride in our inclusive and diverse approach to mental health, providing a safe and welcoming space for individuals, families, and young people. We offer therapy animals to increase engagement and reduce anxiety. 
We strive to provide a warm, friendly and supportive environment. Due to the high demand for our services, we are seeking an AHPRA Registered Psychologist to join our practice, intitially 2 days a week with the potential for full time in the future. New graduates are encouraged to apply. 
We require from you:
  • AHPRA registration (current)
  • Be able to provide services under Medicare
  • Indemnity insurance
  • Responding to Abuse and Neglect training (or willing to obtain)
  • Polie Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
  • NDIS Worker Screening (Or willing to obtain prior to employment)
  • A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential
  • Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships with stakeholders and referrers. 
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Competent in the delivery of evidence based assessment and therapeutic interventions
