Registered Psychologist

We are currently seeking a Mental Health Clinician (Clinical Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist) for our Child and Youth Mental Health Service to commence ASAP until the middle of May

In this position you will be required to:

• Work collaboratively as a multi-disciplinary team member to provide effective evidence-based practice that best meets the needs of patients of the Child Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) & other designated mental health programs.
• Provide clinical skills, support, and education to patients to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
• Maintain best practice standards by seeking regular professional clinical supervision.
• Provide written and verbal information patients regarding their rights, responsibilities and the mental health services complaints and compliments process.
• Participate in the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of mental health services within the local service area.
• To actively participate in prevention, promotion and early intervention activities within the community that are aimed at children & youth at high risk of mental health issues.

On Offer

• $60-$80 per hour depending on experience

• Contract dates can be flexible

To Be Successful:

• Experience as a Mental health Clinican with Youth and Children
• Hold a relevant territory qualification and membership with AHPRA or AASW
• Hold Mental Health Accreditation
• Meet all compliance requirements inclusive of reference checks, working rights & WWCC check
• Fully vaccinated or proof of immunity to preventable diseases
