About our practice
Our practice is well established with more than 20 years experience servicing the communities of the Scenic Rim Region – one of Queensland’s highest growth areas. We have excellent relationships with a range of referring GPs and medical specialists and work with clients of all age groups, conducting individual, family and couples therapy. All therapy is provided on a Private Practice, fee-for-service basis with no bulk-billing. In addition to Medicare referrals, we also see clients under EAP Programs, Open Arms (defence force personnel and their family members), insurance and WorkCover claims, and via NDIS funding.
We have an electronic diary with integrated payments, rebates, questionnaires, and notes functions (Halaxy) and excellent processes for supporting our therapists to maintain the number and type of clients they prefer to work with within a schedule that they choose.
About the role/s
We are currently swamped with referrals for both children and adults. Thus, we are open to candidates who may prefer working with particular client groups or presentations.
Additional benefits
We take care of all the behind the scenes aspects – finding clients, managing bookings, billing, rebates, sending off correspondence, following up the correct referrals and paperwork, ensuring Medicare compliance, and so forth. We can also provide professional and business mentoring as desired. Internal supervision is also available at no charge. Additionally, we have a Clinical Panel in place to assist with advice and support for challenging cases. We have monthly practice meetings which our therapists are paid to attend.
Our goal is to fully support our therapists so they can best support their clients.
About our requirements
We do require that our psychologists are fully qualified, registered with AHPRA and are eligible for a Medicare provider number.
