Yancoal Australia is Australia's largest pure play coal producer. Our Ashton Coal Operations include an underground mine and coal handling and preparation plant, located in Camberwell. The site operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Designing survey plans
• Preparing reports and maintaining survey records
• Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
• Prepare budgets and forecasts as required

To be successful, you will be able to confidently meet the following criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Surveying
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Surveyor in an Underground Mine (essential)
• Sound understanding of responsibilities in relation to the WH&S (Mines & Petroleum) Act and regulations
• Confident in using AutoCAD software
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• High developed written and verbal communication skills
