Registered/Enrolled Nurses/Support/Disability - Goulburn Valley Shepparton

Rubies Nursing is seeking experienced and compassionate Community Support/Disability/Personal care workers /Enrolled/Registered Nurses, for Hospitals, Communities, Mental Health, and Emergency departments across the Goulburn Valley Region and various other regional locations in VIC. As a community and hospital worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings. We have short-term and long-permanent placements and for those who want to relocate to Australia sponsorship is also available.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in Community, hospitals and mental health facilities, including but not limited to administering medications, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
• Develop and implement care plans based on patient assessments and needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, social workers, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education on treatment plans and options.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted APHRA Registration for nurses
• Certificate 111  minimum for Support Workers
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the community. hospitals or mental health facilities.
• Excellent clinical skills, including proficiency in administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to various locations and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays! or choose permanent placements.
