SalaryAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Registrar or Principal House Officer to join the Mental Health Services Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Your opportunity:
- This position is responsible for providing high quality specialist mental health interventions to the target population and for contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of the service as a whole.
- The position can be a vocational training position as it is accredited with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). It can also be for a Medical Officer who wishes to increase knowledge and experience in Mental Health without joining the RANZCP Training Programme.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $170,378 p.a., comprising salary between $125,808 - $145,865 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) and vocational training subsidy (L4-L9) (Temporary Full Time Position, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
