THE POSITION

The Regulatory Affairs Associate is a newly developed role reporting to the General Manager Scientific & Regulatory Affairs. The role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage a variety of tasks relating to Regulatory Compliance for the Complementary Medicines industry. 
  • Act as qualified person responsible for Pharmacovigilance in Australia (QPPVA).
  • Investigate customer complaints/ queries and problem-solve solutions.
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review specifications and other associated documents related to sampling, testing and finished products including ongoing management.
  • Review manufacturing and batch records. 
  • Support the R&D, Sales and Marketing teams in regulatory aspects and projects. 
  • Develop and coordinate new product labels, review labels, or changes to labels meeting all regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and participate in Quality reviews, Supplier audits and other external audits.
  • Ensure to have current knowledge of the suppliers, supply chain and the associated risks involved for the products purchased or received. 
  • Other duties as directed by the General Manager Scientific & Regulatory Affairs.

THE PERSON

You will ideally have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Food or a related discipline and:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Regulatory and Quality Associate role in the ANZ Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge and experience of TGA Therapeutic Goods/ Complementary Medicines.
  • Pharmacovigilance Experience.
  • A track record of being highly detailed, organised and able to prioritise.
  • Experience working within a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong self-management skills with the ability to work autonomously and work well in a team environment.
  • Solutions focused attitude.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
