Reporting to the Operations Manager, based in our head office in Rydalmere, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The Regulatory Affairs Associate will coordinate the preparation and submission of regulatory documents and ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements. This position requires an individual who can efficiently coordinate and manage regulatory processes and who possesses an understanding of the regulatory landscape and government agencies within the raw ingredients industry.
Key responsibilities include
- Communicate with regulatory and government agencies regarding pre-submission strategies, potential regulatory pathways, compliance test requirements, or clarification and follow-up of submissions under review. – AICIS, TGA, BICON, FSANZ, APVMA, Department of Health, Medicines Scheduling.
- Coordinate and compile necessary documents for regulatory submissions from all departments within the company.
- Monitor and analyse regulatory agency guidelines and competitor products to ensure strategic alignment and compliance.
- Create product codes in the ERP system
- Registering of non-approved chemical/ingredient with AICIS, when required
- Annual reporting and declaration of non-listed chemicals on AICIS portal
- Annual renewal of business registration with AICIS
- Application and renewal of import permits (BICON, CITES)
- Maintain current knowledge of legislation and regulatory guidelines that affect the company’s products and operations.
- Maintain regulatory files and databases to ensure prompt and accurate access to IP’s regulatory information and to provide reports to senior management
- New Supplier Compliance & Risk assessment
The ideal candidate will possess
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Engineering). A master’s degree or higher may be preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in REGULATORY AFFAIRS or a related function within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory submission processes and requirements in major markets.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of “Good Practice guidelines and regulations” and other compliance standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and regulatory submission software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously.
