About the Role
The Regulatory Operations Group conducts compliance activities, provides trustee services and exercises statutory coercive powers to minimise harms and maintain community confidence. Working collaboratively across the Agency you'll contribute to a team environment with a supportive culture that encourages innovation and business improvement where staff are valued and committed to producing outcomes that enhance public value.
The team are currently seeking applications at the APS5 OR APS6 Advisor/ Senior Advisor
APS5 Duties
- Identify and contribute to the development and implementation of best practice, process improvement and change agendas aligned to broader government and organisational goals
- Provide in depth technical expertise and guidance across strategic and policy related outcomes.
- Apply extensive knowledge and evidence-based decisions supported by regulatory and policy frameworks ensuring operational compliance.
APS6 Duties
- Actively support Executive and Senior Executive managers in the delivery of strategic objectives and identify relevant emerging issues, trends and impacts on the business.
- Negotiate and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the agency's reputation.
- Engage with operational and strategic projects and contribute to alignment of long-term planning with agency goals.
What's on offer
The successful candidate will notionally be offered a 6 month hourly rate contract at the APS5 or APS6 level (dependant on experience). This position can be based in Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth or Hobart.
As this role is with the Federal Government, only Australian citizens that hold a current baseline clearance (at minimum) will be considered for this vacancy.
