Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and psychological conditions, evaluating their capacity to return to work.
- Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans focusing on enhancing clients' functional abilities and vocational readiness.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, employers, and insurers to coordinate rehabilitation efforts and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide vocational counseling and job placement assistance to facilitate clients' successful return to work.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting rehabilitation strategies as needed to ensure sustained improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
- Relevant certification or licensure in rehabilitation counseling or related discipline.
- Proven experience in vocational rehabilitation, preferably within a clinic-based setting.
- Strong understanding of physical and psychological barriers to employment and return-to-work strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Proficiency in utilising technology for documentation and communication purposes.
