Our Cadia operation in MOBILE FLEET – RELIABILITY & PLANNING is now recruiting for the position of RELIABILITY ADVISOR.

Cadia Valley Operations is located in Central Western New South Wales, approximately 25 kms outside the vibrant regional township of Orange and a convenient three hours from the capital city of Sydney. Employees reside in varied accommodation options in and around the district of Orange with the surrounding area’s occupied by wineries, stone fruit orchards, farming and national parks.

Who we’re looking for
The Reliability Advisor will play a critical role in ensuring efficient Reliability maintenance work activities and performance optimisation to identify improvement opportunities in the reliability and performance of the mobile assets working at Cadia Valley Operations.
With a focus on Health & Safety you will ensure compliance with relevant statutory and site standards for self and contractors working alongside you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively and efficiently monitor equipment reliability and recommend machine reliability and performance improvement opportunities
- Engagement with execution and production through reliability data to proactively identify reliability and performance opportunities
- Contribute to the monitoring and optimisation of mobile equipment performance and the maintenance function. (Continuous Improvement)
- Perform Failure Analysis on failed components / parts and recommend proactive Reliability Improvements to improve life achieved and reduce $p/tonne
The ideal candidate will Be proficient in both verbal and written communication techniques and ensure they are carried out in a professional and productive manner.
You will also possess the following:
- Qualified tradesperson in the maintenance field (mobile fleet experience highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience in a mining maintenance environment
- Have experience with modern maintenance techniques and computerised maintenance systems.
- Familiar with Microsoft office applications, particularly project, excel and word.
- Sound understanding of fleet equipment and condition monitoring requirements
