Reliability Engineer, and working in a collaborative community within the you will be:
- Using data and reliability principles to focus improvement effort in obtaining optimal availability of the equipment.
- Facilitating and completing RCA's
- Reviewing, developing, and improving maintenance tactics.
- Focusing on turning maintenance tactics into effective work instructions.
- Champion oil sample submission processes.
- Custodianship and maintenance of the site Tribology Asset Health Watch list & Action Tracker.
- Custodian of site HC continuous improvement process, lead hydrocarbon improvement projects & track value delivered.
- Undertaking reliability performance evaluations, prediction, and standardised reporting.
- Investigate oil sample result exceptions in partnership with site maintenance stakeholders to determine potential root cause(s).
- Work with other Reliability Engineers to complete delay accounting and trigger action response
- Develop weekly downtime metrics for critical assets.
- Leading and implementing improvement initiatives through data analysis and new technology.
- The ability to provide technical support to operational teams and build strong working relationships.
What you will bringTo be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself your team and community.
- Solid background in a mechanical maintenance or engineering role with a strong focus on Reliability Engineering and hydrocarbons.
- Safety focused with the knowledge and experience with fixed plant and bulk materials handling.
- Ability to collect and analysis data to provide outcomes on how to make machinery work more effectively.
- Project Management experience
- Proven leadership skills with highly developed problem-solving ability.
- Valid Australian C class manual driver's license
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Located in Australia's Northern Territory, each year the operation produces approximately 12 million tonnes of bauxite.With a workforce of 460 people, daily activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, shutdown planning and execution, export operations, cultural heritage management, and closure activities following our decision to close the site's alumina refinery and associated Residue Disposal Area in 2017.We expect our bauxite mining operations on the Gove Peninsula will cease in 2030 and we are undertaking significant work to support closure of the operation.
