This is a DIDO role for a mine site in Illawarra operating on a 5d/2d roster engagement over a 12-month contract. There is an option to work from home 1 day a week for the suited candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Use condition monitoring and operational data to predict equipment failures, proactively implement measures, and analyse delay data adhering to defect elimination processes to improve asset reliability.
- Provide technical input into equipment purchase and overhaul specifications to address known and potential failure modes.
- Develop and maintain equipment asset management plans (AMP) to ensure lifecycle requirements are known and accurate.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and improve preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and resource utilisation.
About You:
- Prior experience in a similar role within the Resources or Heavy Industry (Underground Mining highly desirable)
- Knowledge of defect elimination processes and predictive maintenance technologies and methodologies
- Analytical capabilities with skills in reliability modelling and analysis tools
- Exposure to CMMS operation and master data management (1SAP Preferred)
- Excellent communication skills that allow you to collaborate effectively and influence across various levels of the organisation
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience
