The Role
As a Maintenace & Reliability Engineer - You will ensure to satisfy MHF compliance requirements by providing ownership of changes to critical maintenance systems such as SAP and Beamex, to ensure continual supply of product to customers by achieving reliable plant operation and to support optimisation of R&M expenditure.
Principal Responsibilities
- Provide ownership of changes to critical maintenance systems such as SAP for workorder management and Beamex for instrument and analyser calibrations to ensure these systems are always up to date
- Ensure continual supply of product to customers by achieving reliable plant operation by analysing break down data and recommending improvement opportunities such as replacement of equipment, increasing frequency of preventative maintenance, changing the scope of work of preventative maintenance or plant redesign
- Support administration of the management of change system (EMOC) to prevent a high number of overdue EMOCs by ensuring that all project work completed by the engineering team has timely completion of associated SAP updates for new PMs, changes to workscope or frequency and removal of redundant equipment
- Support optimisation of R&M budget spend by reviewing contractor performance and driving opportunities for increasing or reducing workload per contractor, optimising activities that affect multiple areas of the site and supporting a productivity improvement target of 6%
- Train maintenance personnel on SAP usage requirements and monitor usage to ensure the system is maintained in a good state of health to support ongoing MHF compliance and stable customer supply
Required Key Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Experience with SAP an advantage
- High level of attention to detail
- Planning and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal communication and written communication
- Customer service focus and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of initiative and ability to work unsupervised
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering qualification (mechanical preferred)
- Experience in maintenance on an industrial site an advantage
- Experience on an MHF site an advantage
