Qualifications & experience
- A recognised Diploma of Remedial massage therapy
- Professional Indemnity insurance
- Have previous industry experience preferably in private practice in Australia. Health Fund Provider Numbers and Professional Membership required and must be current throughout your employment.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Use your well-developed skills and knowledge to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of your clients
- Liaise and work with our multidisciplinary team in the spirit of collaboration and exchange to build effective working relationships for the well-being of your clients
- Proficiency with work and documentation requirements such as appropriate standards of care, notes and reports
- Referring patients as needed to our other healthcare professionals
- Participate in continued professional development to update and maintain professional knowledge and skills
- Build and maintain a strong client caseload using your excellent interpersonal skills, effectively interacting with patients, their carers and family, and Insurers where relevant
- Good teamwork, listening and observational skills to develop effective treatment programs and in a timely manner
- Compliance with professional standards and government regulations.
