The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in underserved areas and capable of working autonomously and withing a dynamic team in challenging environments.Our Benefits

As a Registered Nurse, Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Conducting prenatal assessments, including physical exams, blood tests, and ultrasounds.
• Monitoring labor progression, fetal heart rate, and maternal vital signs.
• Providing pain management techniques, emotional support, and reassurance during labor.
• Assisting with delivery, including managing complications if they arise.
• Assessing the health and well-being of the mother and newborn immediately after childbirth.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically under pressure, analyse complex situations, and make sound decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes to patients.
• Understanding of patient safety and quality education and delivery of services in accordance with the National Patient Safety and Quality Standards, Work Health & Safety Act, and Ministry of Health risk management frameworks

What We Require From You

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 2 years working in remote or rural healthcare settings
• Must hold recognized qualification in Midwifery and/or 2 years clinical experience in the field
• Evidence of prior service
• Specific qualifications or Training for specialty area
• National police certificate
• A valid and up to date Ochre Card
• Up to date vaccinations
