Be Found Recruitment Partners are hiring! We are currently on the lookout for Chefs to cover all areas of Sydney NSW who are looking for casual shifts in a variety of settings. Have the opportunity to work in Aged Care facilities and hospitals all over New South Wales.
You will be responsible for the preparation of quality, fresh-cook meals as per the sites menu and providing excellence service to the residents.
This is a casual position where you may be notified on short notice to provide leave coverage. However, we also get bookings in advance and have some now for weekly placements.
To be successful, you will possess experience, knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Experience working in a bulk catering role in an aged/health care environment.
- Competent in food preparation, plating and serving.
- Ability to step up to undertake the cooking function.
- Capable of prioritising work within established routines, methods and procedures
- Safe food handling practices and knowledge of HACCP
- Excellent and prompt food service/post-meal time cleaning skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Strong customer service ethics and empathy for the elderly
- Knowledge and adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines
- Experience with maintaining stock levels and preparing orders.

To join our team, you will need:
- Have good communication and time management skills.
- Have a valid food safety certificate.
- Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
- Working Rights in Australia.
- Sound knowledge of all Covid safe practices
- Up to date COVID and Flu Vaccination record
- Customer service experience an advantage.
