Blok Design Co. is a full-service design and property styling company with our own inventory of furniture, in-house removalists, a fleet of trucks and a team of experience Stylists and Designers.
Our warehouse is located in Hendra.
The Role
We appreciate that creativity may not be your thing, but you need to be able to keep up the pace and be hands-on. This role is essential to ensuring we can deliver on client expectations. Every day will bring something new, and no need for the gym as you stay fit on the job!
Working alongside the Warehouse Manager, you and the team are responsible for:
- Loading and unloading of furniture at the warehouse
- Daily delivery and collections to/from client’s properties
- Warehousing duties
- Basic repairs and building furniture
This role is a full-time permanent role and will be paid above the award rate.
Monday – Friday only.
Immediate start is ideal.
Job requirements- 1-2 years Removals experience (preferred)
- Open Australian driver’s licence
- A high level of physical fitness and energy
- Impeccable personal presentation and a helpful, friendly manner
- A can-do attitude, reliable and highly motivated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and receive instructions on the go
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English and the ability to use email, text and basic computer skills is essential
