The Remuneration Officer plays a key role within the broader finance team, ensuring Barwon Water is compliant with the relevant Enterprise Agreement and statutory and legal obligations. This compliance is essential to our ambition of providing regional prosperity as set out in our Strategy 2030.

You will support the team in scheduled payroll processing of the Barwon Water Group, undertaking the timely and accurate payment of staff on a fortnightly basis and ensuring all statutory obligations are met.

With a focus on relationship management and excellent customer service, you will be committed to providing first class advice and assistance to staff regarding remuneration related condition and entitlement queries.

About you

You’re a problem solver, with a highly technical approach and demonstrated experience working in remuneration services. Your well honed communication skills will see you build strong relationships with stakeholders, who will value your expertise.

With a curious mind, you will seek out system improvement and efficiencies, demonstrating a capacity to investigate and embed change effectively. Self-motivated with strong organisational skills, you are detail orientated with a commitment to accuracy in your work.

Your experience with payroll systems could be further supported by qualifications and underpin your success in this key role.
