Hours per fortnight: 1.3 FTE
Flexibility for short/fixed term with view for ongoing contract per planned Service Expansion.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurses with previous haemodialysis nursing experience to work in the new state of the art Echuca Regional Health Cancer and Wellness Centre - witin the Renal Dialysis Unit. This role is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic specialty area of Renal Dialysis with the option develop skills in Medical Day Chemotherapy nursing and associated roles in the Cancer and Wellness Centre.

Key responsibilities include:
- Administering haemodialysis treatment
- Provide safe and comprehensive patient focused nursing care
- Conduct patient assessment and plan care relevant to disease and treatment
- Provide education and advice to patients and carer’s on treatments and symptom management
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
Our team requires someone who has:
- Proven experience working in Renal Dialysis nursing
- Advanced clinical assessment skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skill
- High level interpersonal skills
- Post graduate qualifications desirable
- Interest and previous experience in Day Oncology and Medical Day Unit nursing
