Specialising in grain-fed beef production, the plant employs approximately 850 employees with a current processing capacity of 945 cattle per day and has a strong reputation for producing high quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers.
About the RoleJBS Beef City is currently recruiting a
Render Operator to join the team in a full-time capacity. Your key responsibilities will include operational control of render labouring functions including control of tallow quality, meat meal and blood cooking.The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday (38.75 hours per week), 2pm to 10.15pm (with optional overtime on Saturdays where available).The minimum wage (gross) for this role is $978. Once assessed as competent at the required level, the wages may increase to $1,116 (plus shift penalty rates of $83.75 working on the
Afternoon shift).
About You- Previous experience not required; all necessary training will be provided
- Forklift experience and ticket advantageous
- Ability to drive trucks and tractors
- Willingness to participate in a well-developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions
- Comply with, and contribute to, our highly developed WHS, Quality Assurance and Training programs
- Have access to reliable transport to travel safely to and from work
