- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
- Willingness to learn all decorative finishes including Concrete Finish, Hard Plaster, Stucco, Venetian Plaster, Micro Cement
Tasks & responsibilities
- Apply solid plaster to walls and other surfaces, ensuring a flawless finish. Set angles, screed walls, and carry out rendering tasks as required. Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times. Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement and render to structures using trowels, and leveling and smoothing coats to uniform thickness
- Creating decorative textures in finishing coats.
- Concrete Finish, Hard Plaster, Stucco, Venetian Plaster, Micro Cement. Vermiculite.
Please note that relevant Apprentice award rates will apply.
Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence
- 100% commitment to undertaking this 4 year apprenticeship
- White card prior to commencement
- Hard working and dedicated individual
