This role will sit within their energy trading arm of the business and act as an interface between them and the energy market. Based in Melbourne CBD, you will enjoy a flexible hybrid working model. Your new role
The Renewable Energy Analyst will support the business development of all Renewable Energy technologies in the APAC region. The role involves identifying and analysing revenue streams for renewables and requires a high competency in numerical work and handling of large amount of data.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree in an analytical / numerical subject, preferably Engineering, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics and appropriate professional experience.
3 + years’ experience regarding the economics of renewable energies (e.g. MLF/DLF development, FCAS, Causer Pays Procedure and revenues from support mechanisms).
3+ years’ experience with fundamental energy market modelling.
Experience in programming and/or optimisation languages is an advantage, e.g. Python, Matlab, R or GAMS, database management (i.e. Access) and capability to develop, document and maintain models.
